Tenant-wide admin consent
Some Microsoft 365 tenants require an administrator to approve a third-party application before it can read meeting transcripts. This grants that approval once, for everyone.
You only need this if a member sees Approval required when connecting. Individual users can connect their own calendar without it in most tenants.
Grant consent
From Settings → Connections, a workspace owner can copy the admin consent URL. It points at login.microsoftonline.com with the htgr application id and your tenant id. Send it to whoever holds Global Administrator.
Microsoft shows the exact scope list before anything is granted. Every scope htgr asks for is read-only — the table below explains what each is used for. Nothing on this list can modify, send or delete anything in your tenant.
Consent is recorded against the tenant, not the individual. Members who were blocked can connect immediately; existing connections pick up the new grant on their next sync.
Settings → Connections shows Tenant consent: granted. If it still reads required after a few minutes, the grant was likely made in a different tenant — check the tenant id on that page against the one in the consent URL.
What each scope is for
Requesting a new scope always requires fresh consent. We will not silently widen an existing grant.
Revoking
Remove the htgr enterprise application from Entra ID → Enterprise applications, or have each member disconnect from Settings → Connections. Syncing stops immediately in both cases. Data already captured stays in your workspace until you ask for deletion — see the privacy policy.
